About Me

After receiving a BA in Theatre from Sarah Lawrence College, I have recently returned to my hometown of Seattle, where I am enthusiastically delving into the local theatre scene as a director and designer.

I have directed across genres, but I always find myself drawn to works that poke at the absurdities of everyday life as we struggle to maintain connections with those around us. I love a dark comedy or a touch of magical realism—anything that takes the world we know and heightens it just a bit.

As a sound designer, I enjoy working in this same, slightly heightened space. I work primarily in Audacity and QLab to warp and stretch found sounds. I also use VCV Rack 2 to create various synth tones I can layer into my designs. I want my soundscapes to feel nostalgic and evocative, like something you've heard before but can't quite pinpoint.

I also occasionally take on some scenic and props design. With a strong background in set construction, my set designs are often quite DIY, pulling from the materials at hand to create spaces that feel lived-in and familiar.
